The Heartbeat policy is available with five different levels of cover, each of which covers acute heart and cancer conditions; you can customise your policy, but for prices you'll need to telephone.

Bupa Health Insurance offers five levels of cover: Health Care Select HC, which covers you for heart and cancer treatment only, and Health Care Select 1-4, which offer differing levels of cover but include heart and cancer care. The most expensive option is Health Care Select 1, which covers you for in-patient, out-patient and day patient care, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, psychiatric treatment, complementary medicine and diagnostic tests including MRI, CT and PET scans.

If you want to pay as little as possible, Bupa Health Insurance offers a number of options. You can choose a cheaper Health Care Select package, or you can go for a high excess payment to reduce your premiums.
