We had high hopes for Hastings car insurance upon first investigation- many other sites which aggregate insurance quotes offer Hastings as the cheapest.

The site is exceptionally well designed, and simple to use, with by far the fastest quote system around (only four questions and under a minute to a quote) so if you want an easy life, this is the place to go.

Hastings car insurance aren’t interested in complicated drivers, though- you’ll need to be over 23 years of age, and have at least one year’s no-claims bonus to use their service. You’ll also need five years free of convictions.

The quotes are competitive, though, with the RAV4 quote best-in-field; although the you can find a better deal of up to £100 on the Corsa.

With keen quotes though, if you choose to accept a voluntary excess, you will benefit by a rather measly £10 to £20. The policy documents also offer no exceptional benefits; with comparatively low medical, personal belongings and glass cover.

All in all, a very reliable and well-priced service for the budget-conscious buyer.
