Churchill Insurance is one of the original direct telephone insurers; and their website is equally well designed and simple to use. That said, we could not get a quote for our Corsa in London - the service could not understand our postcode.

The range of services is complete - cars vans and bikes are all welcome. The cover, though is adequate rather than excellent; emergency medical expenses cover and car contents cover are limited to £100 each for example.

But you can get some good discounts. Churchill Insurance offer a no-claims discount of up to 65%, and low-mileage drivers can also expect a good deal. Also, as with most direct insurers, the payment facilities are excellent including credit cards and an instalment scheme.

Our Toyota RAV4 in Shropshire cost £403.99 per annum.
We could not obtain a quote for our Corsa in London, and were advised to call up.
