The site offers single, multi-trip and extended stay travel insurance, and you can also specify winter sports or golf cover. If you're on a tight budget you can also opt-out of features such as baggage and cancellation cover, although we're not convinced that doing so is a good idea.

So does Sainsburys Travel Insurance deliver the promised 75% savings? Er, no. With quotes of £38 for our family and £20 for our single traveller the prices were reasonable rather than exceptional; however, the level of cover is good and Sainsburys is a trusted name.
