Bell Direct Car Insurance is part of the Admiral group, which carved itself a niche by offering sensible premiums to young drivers and owners of performance cars. Like its parent company Bell Direct is happy to quote for anyone aged 17 to 70 and resident in the UK. The quotation form is reasonably well designed and doesn't take too long to complete, but the prices are vague: instead of a firm quote, the site told our Corsa owner that his policy would cost "between £475 and £575" including no claims protection, and urged him to call the company. Our 4x4 owner was quoted "between £500 and £600" for the same cover with a £250 voluntary excess. Bell Direct also offers guaranteed no claims bonus – an extra form of protection – for an additional cost.
