Student Barclaycard now available

For those about to embark on full time higher education and thinking about getting a credit card, the Student Barclaycard could be the right choice for you.

Whether you choose to use it for emergencies only, or the occasional indulgence, Barclaycard provides students with an easily managed credit card that offers good value for money.

The maximum initial limit available is £600, and students are sent a text message to remind them that a payment is due in line with helping them avoid late payment charges.

And as everyone knows, being a student has its drawbacks and there are times when money may be short. For those occasions Barclaycard has introduced a payment break option which allows card holders two payment breaks each year, which must be pre-arranged with Barclaycard.

Finally for those budding academics out there, Student Barclaycard will send £20 of Waterstones' vouchers to all customers who activate their card, provided they applied in a branch.
