Sky credit card design revealed

The design of the new Sky credit card has been revealed. London branding agency Venture three are using the new "glass and light" sky logo on a silver background.

The SkyCard, a branded Sky credit card, will be provided in conjunction with Barclaycard and Mastercard.

Users will be able to place the SkyCard in the second slot of their set-top boxes and use their remote control to manage their account and make purchases. The card features an "end-on logo" which appears upright to the user when place into the customers interactive sky box slot .

The Sky credit card will also function as a normal credit card in shops and cash machines.

The combination of a conventional credit card and the existing smart card reader in a set-top box will provide a secure and convenient payment mechanism for betting and commerce applications.
