Black M&S credit card launched

A new M&S credit card has been launched and the company is hoping that the fact that it is black will persuade consumers to sign up.

M&S money claims that the popularity of other black items will translate to their cards and have even thought to put a green core in the card to help the three quarters of Brits with black wallets locate it.

As well as the slick image the &MORE black card also offers reward points redeemable in M&S stores and a variable rate of 15.9 per cent. It offers zero per cent on purchases for the first nine months and a nine-month long zero per cent fee-free balance transfer facility

"The colour black means so many things to so many different people and there is a certain kudos about it," said Nick Bowyer, from M&S Money's &MORE black card.
