Alliance & Leicester banking centre opens

Alliance & Leicester has opened a new business banking centre in Leicester.

The financial services provider's new headquarters will be based at Permanent House, Horsefair Street.

The Midlands Business Centre is one of six to be opened by Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank this year.

It will focus on businesses with a turnover of between £1 million and £10 million.

"Our strategy of offering a highly competitive range of products, serviced via the telephone and internet has proved to be a huge success, with more and more businesses choosing Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank," said Steve Jennings, director of business banking at Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank.
