Aberdeen Asian Income Fund launched

The public offer on the Aberdeen Asian Income Fund will begin today, following approval of the prospectus by the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA).

Hugh Young will lead the Aberdeen Asian Income Fund managing team, which is based in Singapore.

Customers interested in the fund should contact Aberdeen's Prospectusline, where share plan and Aberdeen individual savings account (ISA) application forms are also available.

An online application for the fund can also be accessed and further information regarding the range of investment trusts offered by Aberdeen can be viewed on the website.

It is expected that the Aberdeen Asian Income Fund public offer we be available until December 13th.
