Nationwide fixed-rate mortgages to be launched

The new range of Nationwide fixed-rate mortgages is set to be launched on November 18th.

There are a number of mortgages to choose from including a two-year fixed-rate deal available from 4.74 per cent.

Meanwhile, the three- and five-year mortgages come with a rate of 4.94 per cent and the ten-year deal has a rate of 5.09 per cent.

All mortgages require a reservation fee. This can either be paid upfront, added to the loan or if the customer wishes, a higher rate of interest can be charged instead of paying the fee.

For the five- and ten-year mortgages the fee is £199, while for the two- and three-year deals it stands at £399.

Customers borrowing from the Nationwide fixed-rate mortgage range will also benefit from being able to overpay and underpay during the deal period.

The current range of Nationwide fixed-rate mortgages will be withdrawn on November 17th.
