Egg Money cashback doubled for Christmas

Egg Money has announced that it will be offering customers two per cent cashback instead of the usual one per cent in the run-up to Christmas.

This means when purchases are made between November 16th and December 10th cardholders will receive two per cent cashback.

There are further deals available when shopping at certain stores with Egg Money, such as ten per cent cashback at Selfridges and iTunes/Apple.

Mark Nacarrow, chief financial officer of Egg, said: "Doubling cashback to two per cent will help shoppers using the card to ease the cost of the festive period or treat themselves to something extra."

For those wishing to buy someone a holiday or city-break for Christmas, five per cent cashback is also available from lastminute.com when booking with Egg Money.

Egg Money is a spending account that separates a customers' disposable cash from their regular monthly commitments.

This allows consumers to spend money with "confidence" and without fear of overspending.
