Birmingham Midshires fixed rate bonds launched

A new range of Birmingham Midshires fixed rate bonds has been launched, with four and five - year options available.

The products come with a rate of 5.1 per cent gross annual equivalent rate (AER) and the minimum investment stands at just £1.

Richard Brown of Birmingham Midshires said he was "looking forward to welcoming new customers" and offering them "market leading savings products".

Customers wishing to open a bond can call the Birmingham Midshires hotline and speak to a representative.

The launch of the new Birmingham Midshires fixed rate bonds comes one month after it launched a "competitive" one-year fixed rate savings bond.
