Legal & General Accelerated Growth Investment Plan 5 launched

Legal & General has launched a new investment plan offering 150 per cent of any capital growth in the FTSE 100 Index.

In addition, customers investing in the Legal & General Accelerated Growth Investment Plan 5 will also receive capital protection at the end of the six-year term.

Claire Stacey, of Legal & General, said: "This investment plan has been designed for the slightly more adventurous investors who are confident that stocks and shares provide the potential for healthy long term returns."

She went on to say that the plan is also for those who prefer to "hedge their investment" through capital protection at maturity, instead of making investments directly in shares.

The minimum customers can invest in the Legal & General Accelerated Growth Investment Plan 5 is £500.

Furthermore, the investments are available as Mini stocks, Maxi Independent Savings Accounts (ISAs), shares ISAs, direct share investments and personal equity plan (PEP)/ISA transfers.
