Gartmore bond funds get new managers

Three of the Gartmore bond funds are to get new managers, following Alix Stewart's decision to leave London and return to Scotland.

Thus the Gartmore Corporate Bond Fund, the High Yield Corporate Bond Fund and the SICAV Sterling Bond Fund will see new portfolio managers.

Karl Bergqwist and Simon Surtees will take over the Gartmore SICAV Sterling Bond Fund and the Gartmore Corporate Bond Fund, while Mark Wauton will manage the Gartmore High Yield Corporate Bond Fund.

Furthermore, the Gartmore Corporate Bond Fund has outperformed its benchmark by over one per cent for the last three years.

It has not yet been announced when these management changes will take place.
