Teachers Call Save launched

The Teachers Building Society Call Save account has been launched, designed for educational professionals who wish to have an easy access savings account.

The variable interest rate currently stands at 4.65 per cent, and to open an account customers must pay in a nominal fee of at least £100.

Mike Hislop, marketing manager at the Teachers Building Society, said: "This new offering is set to take the hassle out of finding and maintaining a savings account for teachers nationwide."

To make things even simpler for those in the educational profession, additional payments can be made at any time, and customers are allowed up to four withdrawals annually without a penalty charge or giving notice.

Customers are able to access their funds through a nominated high street bank account, and can also access various other features via a freephone number.
