Debenhams credit card launched
From tomorrow customers of the Debenhams department store will be able to reap the rewards of shopping there – by using the store's own credit card.
The card is being run with GE Capital, and customers can collect loyalty points in store, as well as at other retail outlets.
However, the scheme will run separately to the Nectar loyalty programme, which Debenhams is a member of along with supermarket giant Sainsbury's.
Alongside loyalty points, cardholders will receive exclusive invitations to shopping events as well as discounts.
In the future the retailer plans to offer customers motor and home insurance deals.
In the mean time, the Debenhams credit card is available to customers from tomorrow.
