Jupiter Environmental Opportunities Fund re-launched
Jupiter will re-launch its Environmental Opportunities Fund which aims to produce a yield of 3.1 per cent, as well as capital growth.
The fund specialises in investing in companies that take a positive stance with respect to the environment.
Emma Howard Boyd, the head of socially responsible investment and governance at Jupiter, said: "The change in objectives we have implemented for Jupiter Environmental Opportunities will ensure that investors will be able to invest in a fund that not only addresses their ethical concerns but that can provide a mixture of strong capital growth and income."
Peter Hulse, will continue to manage the Jupiter Environmental Opportunities Fund, which from its re-launch on October 1st, will be known as Jupiter Environmental Income.
"The outlook for companies with a positive attitude to ethical concerns is increasingly positive," Mr Hulse concluded.
