Friends Provident launches new capital protected investment

Offshore life assurance company, Friends Provident International (FPI), has introduced a new, limited offer, capital protected investment, in conjunction with JP Morgan Chase Bank.

The Capital Plus Account is available from October 1st until November 30th 2004 and has an exclusive fund link, the Capital Plus Fund.

This Fund links to the FTSE 100 Index, offering investors a return of 100 per cent of their capital plus any growth in the FTSE 100.

Paul Tunnicliffe, newly appointed director of international operations at Friends Provident, said of the new fund: "This launch really illustrates how much Friends Provident International understands today's investors.

"The Capital Plus Fund offers what most investors are looking for: a safe haven for their hard earned money combined with the growth potential of the UK's top 100 companies.

"This investment opportunity is going to prove incredibly popular, and I'm pleased to see it join the rest of FPI's top class offering."
